Firstly I need to express my dissapointment in finding out that Iveta Benesova beat Nicole - this is another low profile loss for the Czech Sensation. I had said that I'd rather she missed this tournament and recover rather than continue to lose in first rounds. This year is wide open for the taking but Nicole isn't able to contest for that spot, I am sure if she was in good health she would make the top 10 this year.
Anyway it was interesting that at Morrocco there was an all French final but it wasn't by the top two seeds! In Strasbourg I was very happy that Marion didn't get to the next round whilst congratulations to Yung-Jan Chan.
